Private and Medicare appointments
I aim to make your therapeutic journey as seamless as possible. If you're seeking neuroaffirming mental health occupational therapy, you might be eligible for Medicare rebates via a Mental Health Care Plan. I recommend booking an extended consultation with your GP to chat about your needs. To claim your rebate, ensure your referral is addressed to my name and specifically mentions a Mental Health Care Plan. Generally, this pathway offers up to 10 rebated sessions each calendar year to support your wellbeing.

- On the day of our session, you pay the full fee first, and then I process the rebate for you. Once I receive your referral, I will reach out within a few working days to discuss our first steps together and how we can best support your nervous system safety through our work.

NDIS-funded occupational therapy
I partner with NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan-managed. As an unregistered provider, I focus on delivering flexible, neuroaffirming care that honors your unique brilliance. Please note that I cannot currently accept agency-managed participants. NDIS funding is billed at the standard rate outlined in the current NDIS Price Guide. This funding supports my work in building identity and emotional safety within your own community.
Professional supervision
I offer supervision for therapists who want to deepen their neuroaffirming and trauma-informed practice. Supervision is a professional development service and is billed separately from therapeutic client work. Fees follow a fixed professional rate, which can often be claimed as a business expense. Unlike client therapy, supervision is usually funded privately or by your employer.
Reports and non-face-to-face work
Meaningful support often happens beyond our face-to-face time. Report writing, professional liaison, and resource development are essential for advocacy and authentic belonging. These tasks are billed in 15-minute increments at my standard hourly rate, depending on your funding type (NDIS, Medicare, or Private).
Travel
All sessions are currently hosted via telehealth. I do not offer home or community visit travel at this time.
Cancellation fees
I know that life can be unpredictable, and I want to support your nervous system safety through consistency. To keep my practice sustainable for all participants, I apply a late cancellation fee if a session is cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice. This helps me prepare and ensures I can continue providing heart-led support across the board.
Payment and private health
I accept payments via credit card or direct bank transfer. Following our session, a full receipt/invoice is provided for your records or to facilitate NDIS/private health claiming. You may be able to use your private health insurance to cover some of the fee; however, cover varies significantly by fund and policy. I recommend checking with your insurer before our first meeting.

Rescheduling
I value our shared time and prepare extensively for every session to ensure you receive the highest quality care. If you need to change your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours' notice so the time can be offered to another person seeking support. A standard fee applies for late cancellations or missed sessions, as detailed in the Fees and Funding section above. Your cooperation helps ensure the practice remains sustainable for all.
Settling Invoices
I strive to ensure the administrative side of our partnership is seamless and straightforward. All services are payable via EFT. You will receive an automated invoice following our appointment, and a formal receipt will be issued promptly once funds are cleared to assist with your record-keeping.

Insurance Claims Guide
Many private health funds offer rebates for occupational therapy services. Because every policy provides different levels of coverage, I suggest contacting your provider to confirm your eligibility. Please be aware that legislative guidelines prevent the simultaneous use of private insurance and Medicare rebates for a single consultation.
